Ongoing:
My prototype, Threat Index, was included in the Harvard Kennedy School Shorenstein Center Privacy Forecast 2019:
Originally entitled, “Consent Won’t Save Us,” TI’s premise is that our current understandings of consent is inadequate. The project proposes a simplified way for users to understand the data that may be collected when using an app or visiting a site.
Upcoming:
Anti-Sensor(y) design – How can architecture and infrastructure design assist us in protecting our obscurity from sensors being deployed in civic spaces in the connection to systems like autonomous vehicles, smart city devices, and law enforcement systems, among other technology? This project seeks to understand and visualize the potential for disrupting the cascade of data created simply by existing in a sensor-laden environment, and (re)imagining urban design as privacy protecting.
